Radio Broadcasting Services
The National Weather Station provides custom made weather forecasts for your listening area. We provide different levels of service, depending on your station’s needs. There are three levels for this service.
Here are samples of service we offer… levels 1 through 3:
LEVEL 1: Provides recorded weather broadcasts 3 times per day: first one at 5AM to be aired during the morning hours through 11AM or so… second updated recording will be provided at 11AM which is the “afternoon” report and can be aired from 11:30AM or so on through about 3PM… and the next update at 3PM which is the evening or night-time forecast and can be aired from about 3:30-4PM until 8PM or so. Faxed and/or emailed forecasts and updates are made 3 times per day at 5AM, 11AM, and 3PM. Severe weather bulletins also provided, any time, 24/7 and are automatically emailed and/or faxed as they are issued. Cost dependent on station market size and specific needs of the station. LEVEL 2: Same as Level I, AND ALSO INCLUDES a live broadcast with Question/Answer mode (Q & A) with your news person or DJ. See “delivery” schedule above and add the live report to your morning drive time slot, between 5AM and 9AM. You pick the specific time and we put that into our regular schedule. Cost dependent on station market size and specific needs of the station. Contact for specific pricing.
LEVEL 3: Same as Level II, AND ALSO INCLUDES 3 live broadcasts, one during morning drive time, one during mid day and one during afternoon drive time. Again, you pick the time for the live reports. One would be between 5AM and 9AM (morning drive time), one can be around the mid day hour (between 11AM and 12:30PM ) and one can be between 3PM and 6PM (afternoon drive time).

Demo forecasts
We have two demo forecasts that you can listen to here. These are in MP3 format that will play in your default music player. The KVHS demo broadcast is 40 seconds in length and the WWNT demo broadcast is 46 seconds in length.
Our broadcasts/forecasts are delivered via MP3 or telephone.
Printed forecasts can be sent via email and/or faxed. Daily forecasts provided and severe bulletins sent 24/7.
