Utilities Weather Services
The National Weather Station LLC ™ has four tiers of service to address all the impacts on the utility and energy sector. Our service levels range from our basic Storm Warning Service to three levels of our National Weather Station LLC Utility Program (NWS UP) service.
Storm Warning Service
Whether severe thunderstorms, flooding rain, or a winter storm impacts your operations, this specialized service beats our competition hands down with high accuracy, frequent updates, dependable staff, and at a very competitive cost. The service covers 1 to 3 storm-warning zones (see map for details) and can be sent via e-mail and/or fax. Meteorologist will be available via phone throughout the event to ensure you stay ahead of the storm. Services also include certified official reports of snow/ice accumulations, rainfall amounts, and storm damage. The Storm Warning Service also can be customized for your specific needs to address impacts for your operations.
NWS UP SILVER
With today’s high demand on energy, utilities need a weather service that concentrates specifically on their operations. An error in a temperature forecast can produce a significantly high cost. The National Weather Station LLC’s NWS UP Silver service addresses those concerns with up to 15 days of various weather data forecasted for your specific location. Included in the service are National Weather Station LLC’s Storm Warning Services, written weather discussions, up to two daily phone consultations, and volatility analysis. Forecast data and discussions can be sent in various applications and formats catered to your needs. The service covers 1 to 5 locations and 1 to 3 storm-warning zones.
NWS UP GOLD
If your utility needs go beyond SILVER, then Gold service is your answer. National Weather Station LLC’s Gold service includes all services in basic in addition to 5 phone consultations, up to 10 specific locations, and 5 storm-warning zones all at a very competitive cost!
NWS UP PLATINUM
If your utility covers a large territory or you need 24/7 meteorological consultation, then Platinum service is for you! In addition to all the services in Gold, The National Weather Station LLC ™ provides UNLIMITED phone consultation, three daily written updates; up to 20 forecast locations, and 10 storm-warning zones. All of these services are available at a very competitive industry price!
